Ethics

Joss in front of the newspaper article about her work (that's her photo on the far left). She is wearing an original THTC tee shirt, and her Loop Fabric company logo is visible at the bottom of the photo.

Zak in the Loop Fabric home studio...great to see a small entrepreneur do her thing with gusto...that crazy bag on the left is made in Mexico of recycled plastic packaging and is selling like hotcakes, or fish and chips, or whatever, in the UK where they can spot a fashion trend from a continent away...

Joss said lets have a big smile competition. In the UK smile competition evidently means shark face competition. I didn't get the memo. Joss showing off the celebrity smile she learned at modeling school.

I first met Joss in Berkeley California when she was peddling hemp fabric items on Telegraph avenue at the tender age of 22. Now she is a a 30 year old fashion forward UK leader in the movement towards ethical/fair trade/organic/low carbon footprint clothing, fabrics/textiles and accessories. I linked her fabrics website earlier...here is a link to the newspaper article shown in the photograph above which featured her...

Her partner Dru is leading the way in the world of tee shirts with his hip hemp and organic cotton clothing company THTC. Here is the link to the company website...

Katharine Hamnet is a UK fashion design icon who has been the champion for decades for ethics and fair trade in the clothing industry...she was just listed first out of 100 influential environmentalists in the UK, ahead of even Al Gore who is fourth on the list. Check the link to her website...and BRING BACK GOD!
